Zero-Point is a 3D space roguelike inspired by the indie hit FTL: Faster Than Light. Take control of a cruiser-sized spaceship crewed with up to 4 starting crew members, and travel through many regions of hostile space on your mission to save the Star Federation.
EDIT - changed review to negative... nothing added, nothing changed, nothing to see here. Don't waste your time.
While this is admittedly another FTL clone that is ultimately inferior it does replicate much of originals charm and so I will narrowly recommend.
However, I will change my review to negative if the developers fail to - relatively quickly...
It's not awful but it is bland and generic. It's impossible to recommend this game.
Why not?

What it is is FTL's core game mechanics but without all the nice touches that elevated the experience...
So far from what I played it is exactly how the game FTL feels it isn't a carbon copy of it and to be completely honest I like how hard the game is! You can overclock your systems in this one versus FTL and I do like the little 3D aspect of it. One thing I do have a little trouble with is the pacing in the early stages of the game it is a little hard...

Thanks for the review code Studio Zero!
There's definitely an adjustment going from FTL to Zero Point. 3-D graphics are nice. I'm still working on figuring out the UI for power allocation for primary systems and I'm unsure if sub systems, do they require reactor power? That'll come with more game play.
The only con I have for this game is that I'm unable...
