Alone in a forest that won’t let her go, Nora is being followed by an unseen entity that draws closer with every step. A 2D psychological horror with seven endings shaped by your choices.
Some of the best voice acting and sound direction I've seen in years combine with creepy atmosphere and disturbing visuals to give a very cool, short horror game. I need a drink after finishing that. Absolutely worth playing, if you like being creeped out and on edge you'll love this.
The stylized number “three” in the game’s title reflects a continuation of the developer’s previous two games in terms of gameplay, mechanics, art style, and overall horror atmosphere. It is not meant to connect the stories in any direct way.
The main character is Nora, a young girl who heads into the forest to camp, hoping for some peace and quiet....
Good game with tons of endings and good story. The puzzles can be tricky but overall its worth the money.
Tales of darkness, it is indeed
YAMIGATARI: FOR3ST does a lot of things right. It leans into the scary unknown by not showing the threat chasing you until you've made decent progress, which I think was the right choice. I like the environments, the character art is great, the ambiance is great and the voice acting is good as well.
The game is very straightforward...
Yamigatari is about a 2 hour horror game where you have a creature, or ghost, or spirit (Won't spoil which ;) ) chasing you as you try to survive. Fully voice acted, creepy sound effects, fun puzzles, this is a charming little indie game worth picking up! A 7/10.
