Wylde Flowers is a title that takes us through the story of Tara Wylde. Combining a farm with witchy mechanics such as creating potions, we will have to unravel the mysteries that will occur in Puerto Calmo while we interact with their neighbors.
With so much to do in the game, you could spend all day fishing or maybe planting crops to harvest. Maybe you would like to collect every magic spell, or learn more about all the people in Fairhaven. Whatever you want to do in Wylde Flowers, the game has a lot of it for you to do, and I love it; it is so much fun!
Wylde Flowers is a good representative of farming sims that manages to offer a charming and inviting world. The effort to make the island and its people feel like something real is particularly noteworthy. It's a highly recommended game, especially for fans of the genre.
It was perhaps around the time I found myself feeding mulberry leaves to my silkworms so they could produce the silk I need to run through my loom in order to make the fabric required to produce the parachutes the island's meteorologist had requested for her research balloons… somewhere in that long chain of intertwined chores, anyway… that I realised...
I spent nearly 50 hours with the Apple Arcade version of Wylde Flowers. I guess the same will happen again with the Nintendo Switch version. Wylde Flowers is one of my wholesome games 2022. You get the lovely town of Fairhaven in a solid Switch port.
