Excellent
A perfectly competent FPS core that sees itself sabotaged by so many different directions for where the game thinks it should go with its outrageously addicting gameplay loop.
Survivors like games are a genre that is worth taking a look into if you haven’t already. Vampire Hunters breaks the mould a bit, but keeps that driving force behind what has made games of the genre so popular. It also gives a definitive throwback to old school FPS classics.
I have to say Vampire Hunters is definitely deserving of the Thumb Culture...
One of the best parts of Vampire Hunters is that it can be enjoyed in small bursts. It uses the usual mechanic of getting harder over time, but in the early game, you’ll probably be making it under 10 minutes and then buying upgrades to improve future runs. The dual modes also make the game easy to pick up and play as you get two flavours of a fun game...
Vampire Hunters manages to create a compelling and unique experience, making it a great recommendation for roguelike fans and those looking for an intense and chaotic survival adventure.
