I would expect this to be an upgrade compared with Trainz 2019, but boy was I wrong. Turns out this game is less user-friendly, routes you add to it and install doesn't load, and it crashes to boot.
SP 7 broke my copy of Trainz 2022. I'm getting like 4 FPS where I used to get 40-50!!
Gotta revert to Trainz 2019 now on account of this piece of sh*t update. What were the idiots at Auran thinking when they released this game destroying update?
If you play this game on Linux, prepare for problems. Content downloader do not refresh window, so downloading ned content is a pain. The game runs poorly on proton (tried several versions, including GE), it crashes, hangs, black screens and alot of stuttering, this even on lower settings. So as much as i would love to play this game it seemed so amazing sadly i cant run it without stutters I did so many troubleshooting things and nothing has helped and i shouldn't have stutters with the specs I have and sadly it looks like im going to have to refund the game I'm hoping maybe it will be fixed some day but until that happens i can't recommend...
Bought the game on sale thankfully, it ran for 3 hours just fine now every time I try to launch it I get a black screen and that's all. Buy Railroader its in early access but at least you can play it.
