Theropods isn't interested in reinventing the point-and-click adventure but delivers many of the same thrills as its classics.
Therapods is a fabulous new entry in the point and click genre with a style and character all of its own. Whether you're a long-time fan or just checking in because of the dinosaurs, you'll have a yabba-dabba-doo time – oh wait, that's a different story of man and dinosaur co-existing!
Theropods is more interesting than it is great, but it's still not a bad point-and-click.
The biggest challenge for me was how unintuitive much of the gameplay felt. The game gives you very little direction about what to do next. I often found myself clicking on anything and everything, hoping something would give me a clue. Even when I knew what I needed to accomplish, I didn’t always know how to get there. I could understand the goal but...
Therapods is a love letter to point-and-click games of the past and also an amazing game in its own right. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this, and I would love to see a continuation of the franchise in the near future. Definitely one for fans of point-and-click adventure games.
