I don't want to give it a negative review but the game was not fun at all.... it has so many flaws that the only good thing is the uniqueness of the combat and it's awfully unbalanced and frustrating if you don't hit always critical because you do almost no damage.
-The crafting system is useless and awful. the only useful thing is cooking making food...
It's sad to have to give this a negative review
I really want to support indie developers, and this game is a good concept. But I can't recommend it as there's just too many issues with the game.
Keep in mind that I'm writing this after the game crashed when I was on level 40 out of 50 of the dungeon and lost my progress for that level. Yes, just 50...
It looks great and has fantastic music. Also allows you to customize your experience for more focus on story, exploration, or combat.
But combat is the only draw for me in an indie like this... and it's just horrible. It's slow, tedious, and revolves completely around timed hits. I can do the timed hits decently enough, but it's just not fun.
i feel people are super harsh on this game in my opinion i am having a blast on this game the pixel art is very pretty the music are bangers the gameplay feel very nostalgic and old school the humor is pretty in my style love it plan to do two playtoughs one with the hero and the heroine they remind me link and zelda but more memeable xDDD the combat...
They should completely remove "Turn based" from the game description. It's just QTE with a splash of variety with abilities that change things. Not a dungeon crawler. Not a fan of how the game has different modes, as I actually would prefer all of the modes combined (more story, more puzzles and secrets as well as more and harder enemies).
It might...
