If you want something light hearted, goofy, and over the top, this is a good choice. I like otome games but every so often I want something that is nothing more than enjoyable. This reminded me a lot of "I Love You, Colonel Sanders!" although the animation for Takorita is more like chibis. The entire premise is an underwater princess is bored with underwater...

Credit to the creators for taking the unique theme of fried food and combining it with the little mermaid. Even with that unexpected mix the story is rather rough with little player choice.
An adorable visual novel that favors comedy over realism in the best way possible. If quirky characters, lots of food, and a lighthearted story with multiple different endings sound delicious, chances are you'll have a good time experiencing how Takorita Meets Fries. I certainly did. Fries are awesome.
