This game is just not very good unfortunately. I was interested in the randomized commander genetics element when purchasing the game, but it's very basic percentage point changes and you have no agency over it at the beginning of the game.
The world-gen / map design is also very bad. I've encountered the same POI's dozens of times with my meager amount...
It's not fun.
