ShipShaper is a creative game about the simple joy of designing ships. Nothing more. Nothing less. Export to Bulwark, 3D print, or use in your own games with a free commercial license.
As much as there are things I hope are added to the game, what's already here is above and beyond the best ship building experince I've had. (Coming from someone with 3000+ hours on Navalart)
1. The period is probably my favourite part, as the ability to construct everything from Ancient to WWI vessels is a HUGE win in my book.
2. The building experince...
Played alot of the demo, really enjoying the game so far... Takes a little bit to learn things but you can make some really cool stuff. Looking forward to see what parts are added in the future. Very Cool so far.
My plan was to just build a small, simple ship.
Then somehow it turned into a dreadnought.
And now I’ve spent 5 hours on it and genuinely have no idea where the time went.
Incredible ship builder!
Been using this briefly, and in the 2.5~ hours that I've posted this review, I've managed to create a semi-realistic historical sloop. Watching its sails work in real time realistically is beyond me. I can't NOT recommend this as a tool for creators, even if it's primarily a tool for another game/project by the dev.

#1: The ability...
The exporting to STL feature is great but it acts a little funky in the slicer each poly is a component which lags the hell out of your slicer it is early access so i am sure things will get better but so far very impressive
