Operation Hardcore is an action-packed 2D side-scrolling shooter inspired by classic twitchy action games of yesteryear, but with modern touches and conveniences.
Operation Hardcore is a great side scrolling shooter, no doubt about it. It is somewhat limited in content and a very short experience, but for the price range we are talking about it is well worth it. If you are a fan of the genre, take it straight away and if, like me, you are not it still is a good experience with lots of fun.
This game is absolutely worth your attention. It's a really good example of 2D gaming, like Contra with health. The weapons are great, the bosses exciting, the levels well designed. I fully recommend this game.

Basic elements are competently made but core design of loss upgrades on death or weapon recoil are more frustrating than challenging.
