I don't hate this game, but I understand why others don't recommend it compared to the other mosaic games. The border is just pre-filled boxes that you can't change, there's no story/nothing interesting. When you finish a section, it just turns into a picture but that's it. Also, there's no undo button. I can't tell how many times I made a mistake and...
Why is this so addictive ?
Amazing puzzle if you like games like Minesweeper.
Relaxing but stimulating too. I tried not to hint. To break 50/50 situatons I could just try something, get an error, and then undo and try the other option. I enjoyed learning more and more patterns I could solve off of. I did not enjoy recent sorting games (e.g clean the library), but I did enjoy this solving game.
If I could give it a mixed, I would, but in comparison to Proverbs, Mega Mosaic doesn't hold up as well. Even on its own, I wouldn't suggest playing this over something like Proverbs or even the "Mosaic of the" series. I do appreciate that this game helped make those future games but it just isn't any where near as rewarding.
