Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 has the makings of a stronger sequel, with more varied jobs, property layouts, and lawn-care tasks. Unfortunately, frequent bugs, collision issues, inconsistent mowing detection, and wonky mower handling regularly turn what should be a relaxing experience into a frustrating one. In its current state, it needs more time and patches...
I’m not really sure what I was expecting or hoping for in Lawn Mowing Simulator 2, if I am being honest. Was I looking for something to take my mind off of life? If so, yeah, the game works for that. Jump in, power up my mower, and trim some grass to 3.50″. It is an easy sim to jump into, with a lot to learn that doesn’t feel punishing in the long run....
Overall, Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 from Skyhook Games is the epitome of a relaxing simulator management game. It’s not everyone’s flavour, but if it is, you will get hours of enjoyment from both the management and mowing sides.
