Although the art is very good and the ideas are nice, the controls are too sluggish and frustrating for me to enjoy or recommend. Nostalgia doesn't make a game, gameplay does.
True to its word, this game is a great throwback to a classic genre. The controls take a little getting used to, but after a few minutes, I was taking out baddies left and right. You'll have various enemies to take out or avoid, as well as objects to avoid. Kung Fu Er San has a good difficulty to it, and is very fun to play!
Very very difficult retro style game that is reminiscent of Kung Fu, lot's of hidden power-ups and difficult boss fights.
A very nice tribute to retro fighting games from the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Visually resembles Kung Fu and it's later remakes but plays more like Karateka. Amazing game, send me back to my childhood, great gameplay, lots of enemies and bosses. This game is a great homage to the style. I recommended it.
