Prepare to inhabit a world of chivalry, class warfare and off-beat pop references. Knights of Pen & Paper II is a turn-based, retro style, pixel-art adventure full of danger, intrigue, death, and saving throws! Players assume the role of a group of teenagers, playing a classic pen & paper RPG to overcome dicey situations. As both party and game master, they get to assemble both their characters, and the challenges they will face. Select among mighty classes like Wizard, Thief or Warrior; proud races like Dwarf or Elf; and snark-slinging players like Goth, Lab Rat or Rocker. Choose quests and combat encounters, delve dungeons, craft powerful items and watch in horror as your muscle-packed barbarian rolls a one on his body check. Together, face the greatest threat the campaign world has ever faced: The new rules edition.
It may follow the same formula that its predecessor introduced but Knights of Pen & Paper 2 Deluxiest Edition managed to refine everything to be much more streamlined, fulfilling, and even humorous, too.
GREAT - Knights of Pen & Paper 2 Deluxiest Edition brings everything great about the series to the Nintendo Switch. Tongue-in-cheek humor is present every step of the way, and accessible gameplay with fun quests hold this game together wonderfully. Players will be delighted at how expandable this game can be with the amount of content that is offered...
Overall, Pen and Paper was a mixed experience. I enjoyed the concept of the game, the fact you have adventures and shenanigans all while sat at the table.
Too much is simply identical to before, and the biggest problem remains that this is a game that’s only fun in small doses
Knights of Pen & Paper 2 is an RPG tabletop game where the imaginations of the dungeon master and players come to life in a great and original take on the experience.
