There’s supposed to be four Kirbys racing at all times and the lack of an online player base and the lack of four player split-screen multiplayer just makes it hard to recommend this game at all. With a large number of collectibles, endlessly fun gameplay across various modes and a very friendly and approachable aesthetic, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is the perfect couch party game for younger players.
Ultimately, Kirby’s Dream Buffet consists of a lot of good ideas unfortunately hampered by Nintendo’s continued online bugaboo and what I suspect are technical limitations.
Kirby's Dream Buffet is a pretty simple, but very fun game. It's ideas feels generally fresh and well executed. If you are in for a light party game, this new Kirby adventure is for you.
