Junkster is a 3D action platformer with an awesome building mechanic. Plucky, little construction bot, UM-13 has crash-landed on a dangerous junkyard planet. Armed only with his trusty robo-wrench, Um must find the parts to repair his ship and recover his lost cargo of precious human artifacts.
Junkster is a cute 3D puzzle game with a very fun design and interesting challenges to face, slightly let down by its slightly clunky controls and missed opportunities to develop the story world.
Junkster might not care about fleshing out its protagonist's backstory, but it focuses on what matters: an unusual mechanic that gives the player the freedom to progress however they see fit. The idea of structuring the levels like magazines was a great touch—especially for tying into the art style—though I do think this concept could have been explored...
