An indie psychological horror game. The player has to look for anomalies in a haunted house and report anyhting suspicious (furniture moving, extra objects, intruders). The game has both VR- and non-VR -versions.
I have also played games 1, 2, 4 & 5 as of this review.
The reason I'm making a review for this game in particular was because it actually managed to exceed my expectations going into it & my expectations were not high at all. I was very hesitant going into this black sheep entry. After playing a different first-person anomaly game called Ten Bells,...
great game love it
This one is quite the anomaly (heh) among the franchise. The only one to do it, this game opts to put you IN the locations where the anomalies are! Now the intruders are much more threatening, and you have to worry about covering ground as you search from place-to-place. It has a little bit of jank, but I enjoyed it all the same.
I liked that in this game you actually had to move around instead of just looking at cameras.
Other than that, it was just like the others.📱
Not bad, but easily the weakest Observation Duty game and I am glad they returned to the traditional format after this. This game feels detached from what made the first two games so appealing. I appreciate the ambition, but its not for me
