Corporations turned crime-infested streets into profit margins for bounty hunters and John Sawyer is going to make a killing. Hunt, die, upgrade, repeat in this explosive roguelite prequel where every strategic upgrade strips away more flesh and builds a cybernetic fighter one chrome limb at a time.
It's good, but I don't like the fact that it became a rouge-like. I feel that the first game was borderline perfect in what it offered, with a sequel I really just wanted more of that. However, Overtime is quite addictive, and to say it isn't fun would be a lie. Once more content gets added it will be even better, but I do hope more characters get added....
Has potential, Art direction is great, ost needs more juice compared to 1st, same with the maps they need to be more distinct with more character, secrets are desperetly needed for a roguelike. I think the 2 missing bounty hunters from part 1 should be playable with different upgrades leaning into different playstyles + 2 player coop. I much prefer...
I really like the first game so I was looking forward to it
The music and visuals are amazing in this game
But rougelike just doesn't work with this game
It's good, but needs polish. The jumping feels off especially from platforms to platforms. The stages feel a bit flat too, many platforms make you think there is more above you and there isn't. Lastly, my biggest pet peeve with this game... and I've seen this popping up in other games (cue game dev conspiracy.) You have to buy a license for the character...
Super addicting. Gunplay, melee and movement is snappy and satisfying. It needs more content, but that's coming soon
