He Is Coming is a roguelite auto battler where you have to collect and combine powerful items in order to defeat the demon king and his minions. Upgrade your weapon, discover hidden treasures and survive, because whether you're prepared or not, he is coming!
I like the visuals for the game, as well as the sound design, and I feel like there's maybe something interesting in certain aspects of the design here. Unfortunately, even with the changes made by the developers over the past year or so, there's just not much of a game here, and I mean that in multiple ways.
In terms of player agency, there isn't much....
great fun for many hours. simple idea, complex execution. old hardware friendly 10/10
Absolutely still hooked even after 200+ hours logged. the amount of item combinations and synergies are incredible. and the frequent updates and changes to balance builds is what keeps me coming back every time. also the soundtracks *chefs Kiss* as soon as I hear that music start up its GAME TIME!
