Hawken Reborn is a PvE first person shooter, whilst the original Hawken was an exclusively PvP experience. Pilots may not be going head-to-head in Hawken Reborn against each other, but they can expect just as much combat and high-octane mech fighting as you explore the new world of Illal.
A tragic shadow of the original mech combat game. Stripping away the gritty competitive multiplayer roots in favor of a clunky, uninspired PvE free-to-play model completely missed what made Hawken special.

I can sort of see the direction they are aiming with this, though it is a problematic game.
Given that it is still Early Access with this review, it has a number of things that cause the problematic.
Let me commence....
- Gameplay is very 'Janky', movement for the most part is okay, with a high level of jolting as the game adjusts
