Overview

Hammerfight is a 2D physics-based action game where you control an aircraft with your mouse. Your aircraft can be equipped with various slashing and crushing weapons, which are all effective at crushing through armor and slamming them into a wall. There are a large variety of weapons to unlock, including swords, hammers, maces, and even guns. There is an extensive campaign and arena and hunt game modes.

The mouse input is terrible. Furthermore, it has problems with low resolution, difficulty playing in fullscreen, and inability to switch windows. I would like this game if I could use a controller joystick to move, but apparently not possible with my PS4 controller.

This game is extremely nostalgic, and very interesting in it's plot. Once you get over the learning curve it is absolutely worth sticking to the end!
