Go Vacation is a decent party game, held back by the emptiness of its main setting and the lack of a true standout amongst its minigames.

Overview

In Go Vacation players explore four paradise resorts hosted on Kawawii Island: Marine, City, Mountain, and Snow. Over 50 activities are available on the island including bungee jumping, ice fishing, scuba diving, miniature golf, tennis, off-road racing, and snowman building. In the bungee jumping mini-game, players are challenged by needing to brake as close to the ground as possible. The island can be explored at leisure and navigated by walking, rollerblading, or riding on an ATV.

With a visual outlook that looks clearly dated, Go Vacation further adds to the feeling that its main goal is quantity, not quality, and the game aims to achieve this despite its own exploration options.
Go Vacation is a good reminder of how quantity doesn't always mean quality. There are a lot of mini-games available to play here, but not all of them offer a memorable experience. Motion controls implementation is also disappointing but the multiplayer is still fun if you can play it with friends.
Go Vacation is a particularly fun game that's designed for almost everyone: single players will relish the exploration and collecting aspects; groups will have fun discovering minigames. The massive open-world nature and daily incentives provide even more to do, making this a game that encourages repeat plays. Go Vacation is definitely worth adding...
Go Vacation has several problems, too many to interest veteran players. That said, it could be a highly recommended purchase if you have little brothers or small children at home, eager to get their hands on your switch.
