Digseum is a brilliant little game that is very enjoyable while also valuing your time. The digging and excavation loop is genuinely fun, the incremental progression is satisfying, and I loved basically every second of it. It never gets boring, scales really well for its short runtime, and never once felt like it was padding itself out...
Digseum has a fun concept, but its gameplay is constantly slowed down by unnecessary animations. The core loop is digging, collecting, and starting another excavation. That should feel quick and satisfying. Instead, every round makes you watch the map entrance, bouncing tiles and text, the “START!” banner, then “Completed!” and a series of result windows....
A lovely little incremental game. Simple, charming, and genuinely enjoyable. Best of luck to the developer — they did a great job with this one! :)
