Reception

This game is great! Starts of like you have to actually spell words then rapidly devolves into utter nonsense of putting together broken builds to get past increasingly unfair challenges. And there's delightful hidden stuff you discover as you play. Highly recommend.

The trailer's line of "the word's don't matter, it's all about the score" is pretty accurate; the game focuses a lot more on the roguelite Balatro-esque synergies than the words themselves. It's a good roguelite game, but only an okay word game at best compared to something like Pronoun Palace

You can generally tell how good a Roguelite is by how psychotic you sound while describing it. This is a wordsearch style game where you can use a knight to take a queen to take the number 3 to get a three of a kind to spell the word Duck. Incredible combination of a roguelike and a word game that just keeps getting weirder and more varied the more you play it. This is one of those games where the phrase "no two runs will be the same" actually rings true. Also, lovely character designs, visual effects and soundtrack!

This is one of the most degenerate word games I have ever played, along with one of the most degenerate counting games and chess games I have ever played. Really easy to get absorbed into, satisfying gameplay loops, charming presentation. The demo gives you more than enough to decide if it's for you or not.
