It’s a cozy, wholesome game about running a café and collecting weird creatures, and it’s got to be the most chill game imaginable. There are no real timers, no pressing objectives, nothing that could cause you stress in any way. It’s wonderful.
If you're looking for a relaxing game and don't mind Critter cafés simple approach, then you will get some mild enjoyment out of this sim/management experience. However, if you're after something with deeper gameplay or a more engaging story, you might find yourself wanting more.
With all of this said, I had a hard time giving Critter Café a score because I can see this game being liked by many, but if you are a cozy gamer like me who likes more of a challenge in your games—then this would not be a game for you.
