This has been a bumpy launch that didn't live up to what the series deserved. However, negative aspects aside, there's a great game here, one that retains many of the elements we enjoyed so much in the original installments.
Once again, this is not a game designed for everyone. If you want to enjoy it to the fullest, you will need to arm yourself with a considerable amount of patience for its tactical challenges.
For reasons unknown to us, Commandos: Origins turned out to be a very archaic game that feels drawn out, terribly linear and incredibly tedious. Don't forget about a bunch of bugs.
