CLEARED HOT is a nostalgic helicopter shooter with satisfying physics and light tactical elements. Shoot, dodge, move your squad around the battlefield, and pick up almost anything with your rope and magnet.
A game that just wants to have fun.
Which seems like the point of, you know... a game, but it feels like a lot of modern games don't get that. Games want to feast on your time, make you grind, make you pay for DLC and MTX.
This doesn't do that. You just buy a game, and you have fun. That's why people talk so much about it feeling like a classic game;...
What an absolute gem of a game, it really brings back the memories of playing Jungle Strike on the Sega system to the N64 version of Nuclear Strike. If the developer keeps pushing out big updates and new area's to play and weapons to use you can keep coming back to the game time and time again
If you ever played any of the Strike games (Desert, Jungle, Urban, Soviet, Nuclear) you’ll enjoy this. If you didn’t play you’ll probably still enjoy this. You fly a helicopter around and shoot stuff. What’s not to like? Controls feel smooth, gameplay is fun.
Game needs a rogue like mode where you go on random maps, face random objectives and keep money and helicopters you unlock through play throughs. That would make this game perfect.
As it is...it does exactly what the label says: a modern looking Jungle Strike/Desert Strike helicopter game with fun physics. It's a delight.
