Burden Street Station is a surreal narrative game set in a liminal train station about helping a cast of unusual creatures and spirits move on with their lives.
Collect personality traits through talking and exploration, and wear them to unlock dialogue options and advance their stories.
You will come to know these spirits very well. You will learn a lot about them.
It's like a spaced out version of 90s point and click games from Humongous Entertainment. Heartfelt, fun story. Only thing missing is a whimsical minigame
the world needs more short story based games you can knock out in a morning that you will be thinking about for years to come. the character designs and overall aesthetic are also great. this will be going on my list of games to replay years from now.
beautiful little game encompassing how people can change. completely absurd but absolutely serious at the same time. please keep cooking.
I feel weird about Burden Street Station, because on one hand it was great. The art was phenomenal and so snappy and full of life. And the writing was emotional and genuinely tear jerking, with a really good story & message underneath. But I feel like I didn't get enough game in the game I paid $15 for...
I didn't play this game in one sitting and I...
One of the best-told stories I have witnessed in games for years.
Just wow.
