BodyRecords is a chilling horror experience, blending bodycam immersion, microphone sensitivity to your voice, and eerie spaces. Work together with teammates to solve puzzles, evade lurking horrors, and escape. True cooperative play and unsettling atmosphere make every moment a tense challenge.
This game is so much fun with friends ๐ The bodycam POV makes everything feel way more intense, especially when youโre trying not to get killed by some random monster. Exploring together and freaking out over every little noise is honestly half the fun.
Unfortunately, the radiation is handled badly. The irradiated enemies are an addition that in my opinion that is detrimental as when you get 3-4 of them on you, you radiation level skyrockets something fierce.
I will say that the open world factor for me was a nice change. A melee ability would be nice to have though as bottles and flares can sometimes...
The Backrooms mechanic after dying is a really cool idea. Instead of simply getting kicked out of the action, death turns into another part of the game.
It also gives you that weird feeling that dying might not necessarily be the worst thing that can happen.
Definitely one of the more interesting mechanics I've seen in a co-op horror game.
i was supposed to be the brave one. turns out i'm the problem ๐
Game has many bugs. Including when riding ATV you magically go under the map with no way out. You then get attacked by invisible Zombies and then fly across the map again with your friend not able to rescue you.
This game doesn't feel ready for even early access.
