This is like Mount & Blade but in the Pacific theater of WW2. In other words, pretty kickass. I didn't even realize it was early access until I went to write this review; it certainly feels like a complete game already. Definitely recommended.
Very interesting concept with the potential for a great gameplay loop, but it falls incredibly short for 2 reasons:
1) The enemy cheats and doesn't play by the same rules you do. They have unlimited ammo, and while your crew can get knocked into the water, theirs can't, because they have 0 crew. Nothing affects them.
2) There's no progression in crew...
Honestly not bad.
Imagine Bomber crew mixed with bannerlord.
Most of the time you'll have no idea what you're doing, but still have fun and make progress regardless.
