BeeFense is a tower defense game with real time strategy resource management elements. It’s this resource management which is both a highlight of the game and -in my opinion- its downfall. A core mechanic is sending worker bees to collect pollen, nectar and water to build and maintain towers, which does keep players on their toes having to keep an eye...
Great little tower defense game with a bee oriented theme.
tldr summary:
Cute tower defense game with an 'unbeelievable' amount of bee puns. Takes the same tower defense mechanics that you know and love and crosses it with a kind of RTS resource management side where you need to decide what tasks to assign your bees to at any given time. I actually really liked this tower defense game at first. I didn't care for how every single thing that happened in the story made me stop and listen. Fun tower defense game, different then others I have played. You need to pay attention to everything all the time and manage your bees to best use. It's not too hard, but it's not easy either, especially after mid game. It's a shame it has so few levels, but for it's price it's more then worth it.
I really like the story idea, even if it's not so ''deep''....
