Still, even with these minor narrative missteps, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a standout remake, taking the best bits of the original and sprucing them up for the modern era.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced is the best possible tribute Ubisoft could have paid to one of the most beloved and iconic installments in the saga.
A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage. Black Flag might be Resynced, but its heart remains.
While there is a glaring omission to the content in this package, Black Flag Resynced feels like the definitive pirate adventure that Ubisoft Montreal wanted to tell more than a decade ago. All of the improvements make this one of the best looking (and playing) Assassin's Creed adventures to date.
