AirMech Wastelands is an Action-RPG set in an alternate future America following a global collapse of modern civilization. You are an AirMech Pilot, with the skills to fly and upgrade these ultimate pre-war machines. You and others like you are needed to help protect the remaining survivors from machines still programmed to eliminate and exterminate. Unravel the mystery of why these machines keep coming on your own or with friends by your side!
I like it. It's not a perfect game, but I like it.
update a bit later: disregard the bottom half of the review, you just need to set your launch to %command% /dx11 to run on proton
I can't however recommend it.
The game is dead in the water. No gameplay, no hub-world, not even a loading screen. Game just locks up on the main menu and opens a blank browser...

airmech is a classic rts series and this is basically an rpg-rts version of airmech strike
Worth it if you can snag it on sale (I got it for 5 bucks). Pretty much a standalone PvE for Airmech Strike. Content is repetitive but the rewards for completing the difficulty are pretty great and carries over to Airmech Strike. I do wish they did more with this, but I'd say worth it for what I paid.
